The Coding School Awards are designed to recognise the efforts and achievements of schools in teaching coding & STEM to their students.
They aim to highlight the work of teachers and schools in bringing these important subjects into the classroom and presenting new opportunities for students to learn about, use and program technology.

A teacher from the school can register with 123code and submit an application on behalf of their school. In the application the teacher can provide details of the school’s work in the different categories.

For each category that a school qualifies for, they will receive:
An award flag for the category and level
A certificate for the category and level
A digital badge for the category and level
This can be displayed on the school’s website and social media
There is no cost in applying for or receiving an award. There is a charge for replacement flags if they are needed.
The flags measure 5 foot x 3 foot (152cm x 91cm) and can come with either a rope & toggle or a D ring fixing.
Yes, schools can apply for each of the available categories (Coding School, Robotics School, Web Design School, Programming School).
Class hours refers to the total amount of hours a class has spent on Coding, Robotics, Web Design or Programming in one school year.
123code are the body that evaluates applications and presents the awards.
